Let's Deconstruct @base and why we chose to deploy there: 1/ At a high level, Base is an EVM compatible L2 developed by the @coinbase team designed to enhance the performance & scalability of the Ethereum chain 2/ We wanted to create a cost efficient experience for people to interact with a novel on-chain art concept, but due to the state of Mainnet gas fees & the lack of Ethereum NFT interest, we decided to explore L2 alternatives to bring our vision to life 3/ Base quickly became very promising to us as heavy users through @farcaster and @zora . The culture had begun to maneuver in, which is something we haven't seen happening on any other chains as of lately. The meta has been entirely airdrop focused 4/ We began to tune in towards the initiatives @base was launching all over the place. When the #onchainsummer campaign hit it confirmed our belief in a rapidly growing ecosystem supporting the next wave of artists, builders, & teams innovating in the Web3 space https://www.deconstructedpunks.xyz/

@mxjxn.eth has encouraged me to unfold more elements of myself with the world. The amount of pain I've endured is immense. From my mom dying when I was young, to my dad abandoning me when I was 10. To being tortured in a secret prison when I was 15, to being in a cult when I was 17, to conceiving a child and the mom running off, to struggling with heroin addiction and inevitably winding up homeless and in and out of detoxes and rehabs, to getting sober and losing both my adopted mothers in a tragic unrelated death in a 6 month period. These are some of the most impactful events in my life and I think it's time I began speaking more about them, I hope it will be received well. 🖤
