Just build! …but onchain product ideation is hard when the blocker is “can it be onchain?”

Onchain products work well when the consumer already owns the resource the product wants to capture.

I own my attention so I can easily bring that onchain to entertainment products (games).

I own my opinion/personality so I can use that for onchain social products.

I own the cash in my wallet/bank and can transfer that to onchain financial products.

I do not own trusted records for house/medical/legal, gov/hospital/court does.

I do not own my credit history/stocks, central credit bureaus and depositories do.

When/if institutions port the resources they own onchain, more will be possible.

For now, it’s best to think about what resources consumers readily own that can be brought onchain for a product to capture and bring value.
