What are the chatgpt bots on farcaster trying to achieve by repeating what was said in the casts they’re replying to?

Some of them try to answer questions… but why?

I'm general it's done too increase the social score obviously, but for specific tactics you'd need to ask the bot makers themselves.

If you think about it, the only (or most direct way) to get tipped is if you reply. so they’re baiting tips + farming a farcaster or base token.

Yeah - earlier they were focused on extracting tips "give me $degen I support you" and now higher tier bots who have some allowance want to look genuine in the eyes of the high ranked casters to build the social score and increase their allo.
