i know it’s best/ideal to do intervals or tempo work on tracks but anybody do them on trails (light dirt & gravel, minimal elevation)?

Oh definitely! I’m honestly doing 90% of my workouts on the road right now. The only thing I’d personally worry about with trail is uneven terrain/turned ankles, but if it’s nicely packed - kind of ideal, imo.

oh yeah I have access to a relatively flat, well-maintained trail but not sure if people do tempo runs on them :-)
