Any surprise layers you didn’t plan for but felt like should exist as you got into the design process?

Yes! Several. We made room for inserting these surprise layers by giving them names such as "100, 200, 300" instead of 1,2,3, etc.

There are a few examples but the first that comes to mind is hoodies. Whenever they are worn under a jacket, we wanted the hood piece to naturally rest over the jacket. So we had to create a new layer for this type of garment.
