Here is a little summary of the $DEGEN moderation this season. Please do comment down below and let us know what you think. In about 2 weeks of moderation, 1.45M $DEGEN of tips have been disqualified and put back in the nature for a better destiny. I want to emphasize that most of the tips out there are genuine and valid. Only 58 users have been identified as misbehaving this season. To put that in perspective, there is up to 5M $DEGEN that can be tipped PER DAY. Moderators have only flagged a portion of the season, where we truly found that users were misbehaving. In a nutshell, 358 downvotes have been sent for a total of 134 disqualified casts. The mods have reached quorum 87 times out of 228 downvoted casts. This shows that it is not an authoritarian regime, bur rather members of the community that agree or not on their definition of what a misbehaving user is. Sometimes they agree, sometimes they don't. We hope this will help make tipping a more genuine thing in the next season. The hat stays on 🎩

@standpoint.eth was able to find and downvote more faulty tips than any of us, and that inspired me to do more. Other members of our team do not downvote anything at all, and they helped me to be cautious. I like to stress this: quorum was reached only 87 times out of 228 downvoted casts. That means in almost 2/3 of cases, when one of us downvoted, the rest of us disagreed, and the cast's points were NOT disqualified. The price of degen is $0.0048 rn. Why? Imho one of the main reasons for that is wasted degen. When degen tip is not helping the best and interesting, or funny Farcaster casts, when degen is just exchanged btw accounts in order to become points, and $ - then of course degen is losing it's value. New members will never choose and invest their time, effort and money in a boring app, where they see just exchange of some numbers... It is in the interest of the whole degen community to stop the waste. 500 $degen

Thank you, @standpoint.eth. I would just like to point out to the people, for the most part, this is hard data only. Plenty of talks and discussion behind the curtain, mostly in terms of what is "OK" and what is not. About 20+ mods, and all of us have our own opinion on certain things. We don't all agree. And that is fine. What is important to know, is that this is the first season where we function as mods at all. There will be a learning curve. There will be changes. There will be an opposition from the other side. There will be mistakes (I've made a few). But I believe in the end it will be for the better of Degen, and of farcast. Onwards.

we could do better.. Pes still appears second on the leaderboard and the majority of the people on the leaderboard are exchanging tips, i know FOR SURE most of the people are using their allowance to fill their pockets and not to actually tip im pretty pissed .
