So the top reddit creators - the ppl who make reddit what it is - aren't getting equity they're getting the *ability to buy* reddit shares at IPO price?

In crypto if you don't airdrop to your best users they will abandon you for a network that does.

I don't see a problem with this within TradFi as this isn't a privilege retail investors normally get

also, in TradFi the purpose of an IPO is for the company to raise capital

moreover, airdrops have been good for users but I'm not sure if its been good for the tokens itself, while users have become entitled as well
