This is a good decision. Preferenxe falsification is a big problem in society and we need to see people's honest views. It would be really cool if Farcaster follows it, by implementing ZK likes. Can probably borrow technology from zupoll.

Strong agree with this. Also think follow graphs should be private for similar reasons. Fought for this at X but never managed to get it done.

i get a tremendous amount of value out of seeing *who i follow that follows someone* for a quick & dirty legitimacy check (and occasional back channel)

Interesting PoV! FWIW, I'd say 25%+ of the value I get out of Twitter is actually looking through my follows' likes. 50% is replies, and 25% is raw tweets.

If the follow graph is private, it's hard to build the interoperability.

I dont know how hard it'd be technically or ux-wise, but privacy toggles here sound great
