Ethena... the merging of cefi and defi rates. But I did not expect the saving/lending rates to climb up so drastically and so quickly. ~15% is the new risk free rate in crypto. Anything less is losing you money relatively.

As I imagine it it, Wormhole's new Native Token Transfers is just like them minting equal USDT on every chain, but all of it stays authorized not issued until someone bridges. Similar to "lock and mint" but natively issued (controlled) by the app's smart contract. Does this sound right?

I feel like so much of defi just has to be learned by trial and loss (hopefully with small amounts). Only then will people wise-up and stay away from the things that will inevitably blow up.
