Really great thread here (somewhat hard to follow due to Warpcast threading). My opinion is that reviving the auction is futile, I've yet to hear a compelling idea for how we can increase auction price or make owning a noun more attractive. Burning the treasury nouns could help, there would be less nouns in circulation which would mean buying on auction is the only way to get one. But I doubt this idea would be well received, nor is it something I'm particularly interested in doing.
