Dogs

Today, we said goodbye to our little Lily Staffie. She brought me joy every time she looked at me. She was a determined, joyful, and kind soul I will hold in my heart until my last breath. I'm heartbroken, but I'm incredibly grateful to have had her by my side for the past 11 and a half years. 

I'm forever grateful that she left without pain in her favourite place in the world, the nearby forest. She ate blueberries and treats without a care in the world until it was time. Until we meet again, my best friend. I love you.
