From goal-based living to value-based living Curious to what you guys think! Goal-based living: "I want to lose 10 kilos this year" ❎ continuous participation in the rat race ❎ Feeling like a failure when you don't reach ❎ short burst of happiness when it's reached (before starting a new goal) ❎ not always within your reach What's the alternative? Value-based living: ''I will do what I do from a place of dedication, honesty and care" Actionable: 'I will go for a 1-hour run or walk thrice a week' ✅conscious living from your heart; from your core values ✅ You let go of the results and focus on the efforts ✅ You can always feel a sense of content every time you apply it ✅ Always within your reach It doesn't mean you shouldn't set any goals. The point is you shift your focus more to what you care about and making conscious choices from there. It's a kinder place for yourself as well. You're good enough already and from that place you allow yourself to live the way you really want.
