There’s a recent vid comparing services; Spotify cuts everything above 16khz, all others cut at 20 or higher. 

Also I hope Spotify servers spontaneously combust and the company goes bankrupt.

Hi-res is really for the audiophiles. The vinyl enthusiast of digital music. Not something I'd pay for, I have vinyl for high quality lossless!
