1/11 In the wake of the election, let’s talk about what it really means to be a progressive content creator in this landscape. The Democrats might have lost this election, but the right-wing media and content industries sure as hell won it. Here’s the reality: while Joe Rogan et al keep thriving, being a progressive creator is a shit cocktail of financial starvation, algorithmic sabotage, and the constant threat of being canceled for the most microscopic transgressions. 🧵

Old paradigms are crumbling in the wake of technological and geopolitical upheaval. Maybe Farcaster could become a haven for journalism, as it is, it is quickly becoming one of the world's most dangerous professio as it is de facto banned in 2 of the 3 largest empires and hanging on by a thread in the third who is also actively murdering journalists in certain regions by proxy. But the truth, such as it can be ascertained, is crucial, and your efforts and the efforts of all people of good will trying to get real ideas and information out there needs to become a priority. I'll bring it up with the DAO I've recently created, maybe we can help in this area. Keep up your efforts!
