NFT artists face a tough balancing act. You need: 1) A distinct aesthetic that stands out from the crowd. 2) Artworks consistent enough to belong together, but not so similar that they feel same-y. 3) Prolific minting, but not so frequent that individual pieces are devalued by the deluge.

I enjoy these platforms — my personal favorite is Rodeo — but I remain suuuuper skeptical that they can scale beyond a niche crypto audience normies will not want to use "Instagram but you pay to repost your faves" (which is effectively how the minting-feed referral setup works), that's not the path to mass adoption from one perspective, no big deal — the crypto art scene is developed enough to support a handful of minting platforms frequented by collectors who are motivated by a non-speculative "digital sticker collecting" mindset except the entities behind these platforms are venture-funded startups, designed to seek scale and outsize ROI. which is probably why Zora layered in the whole viral memecoin secondary markets thing am I wrong? interested in counterarguments
