in this newsletter @joshcrnls linked two thoughtful takes on "being early" 1) by @xo, "What do we believe?" https://wrongalot.substack.com/p/what-do-we-believe 2) "The Nemesis Guide to Being Early" https://nemesisglobal.substack.com/p/the-nemesis-guide-to-being-early-6a0 the point is that you can't just be early, period. what you're early *to* is not fungible (pun intended). it should be something of substance and merit. the particularities matter — for example, being early to Solana is not the same as being early to Ethereum, in multiple dimensions (financial, cultural) and you have to *do* something with your earliness — as @six often points out, thesis is worth nothing if you don't make the trade
