NFT artists face a tough balancing act. You need:

1) A distinct aesthetic that stands out from the crowd.

2) Artworks consistent enough to belong together, but not so similar that they feel same-y.

3) Prolific minting, but not so frequent that individual pieces are devalued by the deluge.

Part of #3 is offering a mix of price points and rarities

I've been impressed by how @mbranson navigates these intersecting demands!

probably all three apply to artists in general tbh, I was just thinking about the crypto context

1 and 2 might be the case for artists in general?

But, crypto digital art does feel a bit more homogenous in style, so it might be more relevant here

on top of creating great work lol. seems like a nightmare tbh.

i feel like a majority of those that have found success are most likely a product of 'luck needs surface area' type scenarios
