Considering a Robbie Barrat, but put off by the fact that superrare token URIs point to their domain instead of pure IPFS protocol links. How are other collectors thinking about this risk for superrare specifically? Since it has so much high value art it may be ok, but there's a chance the links are dead in <10 years

I would just simply be using a back up service like ClubNFT that pins for you or just pin them yourself to ipfs.

The issue is not the pinning, the Christie's Barrat piece points to https://ipfs.pixura.io/ipfs/QmaVQaorasxCA7QQJkrhSpQimMcoNdCRBDUjEKQc9dRa9B. The owner of pixura.io is currently superrare, but it expires later this year. Hypothetically, if they forget to renew, someone could register the domain point it anywhere.
