Something my former Coinbase colleagues and I agreed on, and something that makes logical sense, is that people who are well compensated tend to be more engaged with products and stay engaged when they continue to be paid well. When compensation falls short, the mindset of "I don't get paid enough to care" becomes a recurring theme. If you want someone to be fully invested, pay them what they're worth.
