The psychology behind collecting is interesting. A desire so strong to own a thing that it often trumps basic understanding of fiscal responsibility. The need to have something sit on a shelf that only you, the owner, will ever appreciate or likely even notice. It makes no sense. And yet, despite it all, we collect.
