I know it’s cool to hate the Bankless guys but I never feel more certain about crypto than I do after listening to that podcast. Just a parade of incredibly smart guests speaking about this stuff like it’s the most inevitable thing in the world.

Sometimes I wonder if the NFTs I love will ever be loved by people who weren't around for them. NFTs will eventually just be an accepted thing, this I'm certain of. But will people ever *get* the Chromie Squiggle? Will they just shrug at Curio Cards? Will they give a shit about the Mooncats people rescued in 2017?

Always thought The Currency was an underrated statement. Back in 2021, burning your NFT to redeem a physical was largely thought of as gamification of scarcity… but what Hirst was ultimately asking was, “Which has more value to you: The art or the ability to sell the art?” Prescient given what would unfold.
