Thank you fam! We were gonna stop at 3 and somehow ended up with the 2 new street rescues lol. Stopping at 5 for now though, but my wife wants to open a cat sanctuary one day, so perhaps we’ll have many more in the future! 🥰 💜

mine would be a dog sanctuary, I totally get it… used to foster back when I lived in the Florida keys and it was the most fulfilling my life has ever been… miss fostering terribly

tons of street dogs

people will throw food at them, but they usually smack them away if they get up in their business

i call over every single one and theyll just hang their head in my hand for love... they'll come when you call because they're hungry, but they dont really make eye contact or get excited or wag their tail... just hang their heads

breaks my heart... the street cats are always super friendly and playful... saw one near death one time though, super skinny, couldnt move... killed me to walk past him

I hope we can make it happen some day. Any type of animal rescue is amazing work, and I can only imagine that it would add a lot of fulfillment as well. I need a little more of that sometimes tbh.

I have to be fully retired before we can potentially make something like that happen though. 

Are animals just roaming freely there? There’s no shelters or anything? Talking to people where homeless animals are everywhere makes me sad inside, but I know residents usually help and treat them well too.
