This week I built more documentation for fc devs at https://dtech.vision/farcaster/ and a Frames improvement protocol to include the chainId to make live easier for building TX Frames. https://github.com/farcasterxyz/protocol/discussions/194

"Baller mir den Kopf weg wie Kennedy" aus dem Lied Sido "Melatonin" ist einer der kreativsten Beschreibungen, sich komplett zu besaufen die ich bisher gehΓΆrt habe.

How does one build Farcaster Frames? What's the mental model? What do you do? Having worked with the top projects on Farcaster here's how! I think about Frames like a Gameboy. Limited buttons, but with creativity the most fun games and customer journeys can be modelled.

Public service announcement, we are not posting to Warpcast. We are all posting to Farcaster. Thank you. Help everyone be precise in language please :) thank you. Socials via protocol are new, so we need to make sure language is precise from the get go. thank you, monthly reminder sent from supercast.

We are close to putting Hubs into Kubernetes. Why do I care? 1) proper K8s setup is easy to maintain and has great observability 2) everyone on their mum runs Kubernetes How did we do it? @leewardbound PR'd into the helm chart repo 🫑 When is it live? Currently testing sync + hub function. Then iron out liveness, readyness & more Chart works already though!

Has anyone tried running `yarn identity create` on the Hub docker image? I am getting the attached error. I'd love for it to create the identity, then i'll start the hub. If I run the dockerfile directly the identity is missing.

I love Rainbow 🌈 This is significant for Frame devs as now 50+% of mobile users can use Transaction Frames Up from ~30% before Which leads us TX frames to be more viable to develop 😍

The Hub used as bootstrap peer in the docker-compose in the git repo differs from the one in the hubble docs. are both fine? which is preferred? This is your weekly call to rename Composer Actions to Mini Apps (and just accept that mini apps will be able to edit casts in the composer) Cast Actions & Composer Actions are too similar in naming and users think of the composer as cast. That means no one knows what they are talking about. Simple naming. Mini App for everything that renders iFrames. Cast Action for the thing you press as context menu on a cast Frame for everything adhering to the FC:Frames spec opengraph extension Thanks

The better AI becomes the more side projects I'll be able to ship and eventually I think many more single person product studios will evolve that have a portfolio of "micro businesses" single purpose tools that people pay for utility or drives traffic to where these founders monetize

Has anyone found a high performant react native graph library that works well with multi line charts? I am evaluating: https://github.com/rainbow-me/react-native-animated-charts https://github.com/margelo/react-native-graph and the option to just suck it up and build on top of skia, reanimated 3 to do it myself

A Tavern first user's experience. 1) UX is eavy to navigate and know where to go to. Sign in with Farcaster makes it super easy (via neynar here) 2) App also feels fast to use though web app clunkiness drove me mad - Audio cut out multiple times and I had to refresh the page, where on refresh it would show a black screen and I then had to refresh again. (Refresh counter 11 times in 40 minutes) - When refreshing I was still a speaker again, no need to request it and raise hand again. leading to easy just go back in. Nice - Web Brwoser UI (safari bottom bar) popped up when scrolling up and down on the page so that made the app so small that I just left it where it was also while scrolling around before speaking - Sometimes I couldn't hear someone who unmuted themselves, so I lost around 30seconds of their take with the freshes 1/2
