I was thinking having outsiders frame questions for you would be really helpful, hence why I thought the pod would work better than a reflection. Or in counterpart to it. Some questions here if you’d like a start shooting fromthe hip: 1. Most disappointing decision a) from you/the team, b) partners/Zora, c) the collective brain of the user base? And why? 2. What went as expected? Biggest surprises? 3. Who deserves more recognition? (Team, artists, curators…) 4. Proudest achievement? 5. Why did you do it? How did that why change over time? Will a similar why be what you look for in your next project?

I’ve been reflecting on this this week reading How to Do Nothing by Jenny Odell. She’s often described as a digital artist since she often uses digital means to express her ideas, but her phrase ‘my medium is context’ is much more fitting so context artist is a rad title to carry conceptual art as she does. Gen art is fantastic and probably the most native to or at least best aligned use of web3 tech, but it’s very aesthetic and generally low on emotion and a fresh perspective of life. The human touch needs more consideration now, I think. I’ve been wondering why the tech is so inspiring even for myself when it’s the deeper senses that really capture the imagination anyway. I have ideas but they seem 100% uncommercial and I wonder how much the nature of the internet gets ‘proper art’ even in smart spaces such as this. Reckon it worth a few experiments?
