my biggest concern with people in tech who spend all day shouting on the internet is that many of them spend very little time talking to the people actually critical to society:

doctors, firefighters, police officers, construction workers, mechanics, farmers, chefs, baristas, mailmen, janitors, retail workers, etc.

helping build farcaster | surfing @ venice, ca | eating @ gjusta / gjelina | “lucky me, lucky mud”

too much time spent trying to “change the world”

not enough time spent trying to understand the world as it currently is

Was reading just this week about disruption vs maintenance/improvement. 

I get it, but would be awesome to see that energy going into maximum care. Incentives for impact are pretty thin on the ground, alas.
