Why do I struggle with this? Feels too obvious.

Yeah. Been thinking the less prominent stuff that resonates with fewer should lead to deeper convos but not entirely sure that holds either. But when it does, it’s good.

IRL, weather talk (all small talk) has use. Get to gauge a person/interaction. Mediated by tech this is a bit stranger. 

A total cop out but I like to talk about a range of stuff. Just not often the thing everyone decides they want to. Conversational version of ‘I knew them before they got big’? 🤷‍♂️

Also, what about networks and systems? Any faves?

But then you get things like people talking for 10 minutes about the weather…

Neither, really. 

I just tend to find what’s popular to talk about to be boring. Perhaps just because it is popular. Which is stupid. The topic itself might be interesting. 

Maybe it’d be fun to act like a brand and have a viewpoint to spin on whatever the story is. I just fear that’s route 1 to being the bore.

Struggle = bringing myself to being another commenter on the thing. Enough gets said and I don’t often think I’d add anything more worth reading. Reams of me too comments are a bit yawn.
