It was suggested we order food in from the local kebab shop. I refused & went in person. 

The boss man was there after a long absence. I remembered his name & we chatted. 

I left with a Coke on the house. 

1. Community is hard with a delivery driver. 

2. Go do things with the body you have.

It is. I’m grateful to live in the digital age but it’s vital to remember we’re built for physical connection first and foremost.

I don't always go places, but when I do it's that one conversation that makes it all worthwhile

I just had a discussion about something similar with my kids. Something are harder and less instant but also have a bigger impact especially as it relates to human connections. We were talking about writing a letter to someone or printing a photograph with a note on the back and send it to someone.
