does anyone know what the farc castId embed is for? is it for quoting?

This is the proper native way to embed casts on the protocol so clients can render links to their own reference of that cast. 

Right now, Warpcast doesn't support it and instead uses Warpcast links as URL embeds. On flink, I have to parse that and then map it to a flink link. Waiting for Warpcast support to migrate

I'm not because people expect it to show up nicely on Warpcast, so unfortunately dependent on them supporting stuff first. 

Right, that makes sense! I did try it on warpcast and was surprised by the lack of support.

Out of curiosity, are you using this type of embed for quotes made through flink? It could be one of those things that we, as clients, push warpcast to solve by using it ourselves 😅
