The two main critiques of @anoncast over the last day or so have been low quality posts and censorship. Hard problems with no perfect solution, so we're experimenting with the following:

On the @anoncast account:
- 5000 ANON requirement to post
- Posts can no longer be deleted (no censorship)

On Twitter / @anonbangers:
- 2M ANON requirement to promote (quality control)
- Posts can be deleted

If you've complained about censorship, you won't be anymore.
If you've complained about low quality posts, follow @anonbangers.

We'll see how this goes and iterate.

Just being a bit more conservative right now while figuring out the real solution. Ideally, the Twitter posts are governed by some upvote system and not controlled by one person’s will.

Why the extra high bar for twitter posts? Seems like it could be something lower and still be a good balance?

in general for social builders or platforms with user-generated content, this just shows why communities need mods in the beginning while working on tools to (auto-)reduce spam and highlight good content aka make discovery better.

imho every random community on Telegram or Discord "invested" in 2-10 mods (employees or community) but Warpcast channels have for no good reason ignored it and gave up when spam rose with growth.

Are you considering a pay to post and burn mechanism? I could see that working. Ex: 30K anon threshold to post freely, if not 2k anon per post, and half of that is burned.

How does one verify that a post was actually signed by an account holding the required amounts? Do you share the proofs somehow?

Are you investigating any privacy preserving reputational mechanisms for boosting? Something like private set intersection.

Is there anyway to limit the casts per wallet? It will make people to think better their cast and may improve quality

Is it possible to generate a proof that your account casted a certain cast?

Is there any way to implement an anon holding limit based on purchase price in usd and not anon quantity so later arrivals to the ecosystem aren't discriminated? Maybe that's ridiculous and impossible to implement but thought I'd ask anyway.

Are these changes live now? I'm observing a lot of posts that used to be on the feed not existing anymore when I go back to check what's new.
