Increasing the number of people Farcaster is reaching without having solved retention (which is a function of supply of interesting and entertaining content) is a recipe for wasting money and time.

Agree. It's like filling a cup of water with holes and being more concerned on having a strong flow from the faucet rather than fixing the hole first.
