For a long time I have developed a method of iconographic investigation that operates between some themes of interest defined at the beginning but free to move within the intuition and curiosity until it tells me to stop, contemplate and spread it.

My path generally goes from broad to focused and changes at the end are the most difficult. I get locked in and less free as I proceed. Then I stop, release, and start something new.

the decisions I make along the way lock me into a form. Once that  “ossification” happens I have to start a whole new project because I want to return to the freedom of new ideas and experimentation. I end up with lots of collections. I jump around between them to resist the restrictions I made for myself. 😅
