Many spam NFTs contain malicious links to websites or files, which pose significant safety concerns to end users (especially newcomers)

Wallet apps & NFT-related dapps presenting NFTs want to improve their UX by filtering spam.

What we want to achieve with spam scores:

1. Make it easier to identify low-quality NFTs from undesirable airdrops ("spam NFTs")

2. Make it easier to identify NFTs that have dangerous or malicious external links ("scam NFTs")

How does the scoring system work?

Through a combination of models, heuristics & drawing on external data sources, the score is a generated numeric value from 0 to 100

0 = NOT SPAM ✖️
100 = LIKELY SPAM ✔️

The field spam_score is provided inline with NFT response bodies on the API, within the collection field
