I like the idea, but how do you prevent people from recording it w third party tools and sharing in bad faith?

Seems like a classic DRM use case. The most common solutions are: - allow low-quality streaming only, unless device passes some attestation check (is a TV, has a DRM plugin like Widevine, is using the official Android app without screenshot permission, ...) - watermark the stream to create versions that can be traced to the user who leaked them None of these are perfect... but in practice they work quite well.
