I rode from about 18-23. 35 now. It’s fun and I miss it sometimes, but I came to the same conclusion as you

in the western world - its good as a toy on secluded roads, it's not good as a tool (same as convertibles)

Used to ride 2014-2018 (while I was stateside). The risk/reward makes a lot more sense if you either: A. Live in an area that is lower populous/more conducive to it B. Do NOT use it as a daily driver (just dedicated weekend trips where you can prepare, etc) The 80/20 of motorcycle risk comes from other people not seeing you or you getting careless bc you’re used to your routes

The heart wants what the heart wants. If it doesn’t make sense to you you’ll most probably never enjoy it

Some risks just aren’t worth it, no matter how exciting it seems

Skill issue. Risk does not exist. It's just you here, and the vast cosmos. Everything is a risk, everything is unlikely - the most unlikely thing of all is that the amalgamation of cells that you are has a brain that can contemplate statistics - it's inconceivable!
