Damn my dad is tilted about AI. He’s very worried about systemic job losses that will occur. What does one say to this?

he’s not wrong, it will be a very painful transition for a lot of people who don’t see what’s coming

i don't get the argument, ofc the automobile and internet industry disrupted things. see no reason humanity cannot continue to adapt, in fact it seems necessary.
