Theres always been a looming risk that our vwr culture gradually turns into spam culture. 

Sadly this feels inevitable to me and i dont know if there is a real remedy except for our culture and tech to evolve (eg more predefined streams and less focus on daily governance).

I think we can live in vwr phase for quite a while yet though, and when its time to change up the game, it will be apparent, and we will solve it.

vwrs specifically — i think its kinda inevitable to not have the pendulum swing over

- adding context to vote is novel and great
- we enshrine that adding commentary is good for our governance and makes votes more meaningful
- ppl adding commentary goes from rare to almost everyone
- now adding commentary is expected behavior
- and it follows that voters add commentary just for addings sake, not bc they have anything to say
- signal is lost

tbc i still think vwr is net ++++++ good today and historically, just thinking about inevitability
