No other author does for my brain what Kurt Vonnegut does. Absolutely incredible writer. And it’s fun to think about this video as it relates to his themes on nonlinear time. And what that means in terms of his graphs. Thanks for posting this wonderful clip

Yes!!! Agreed! That scene in Slaughterhouse-Five, where Billy watches the movie play backwards, is the most touching commentary on war that I’ve ever read. By flowing in and out of “truth” he was able to approach things in such a profound way

I feel exactly the same!

Kurt was also a WWII veteran and his ability to share his experiences seriously without being a slave to the seriousness of the events he went through inspires me daily in my writing. 

“All this happened, more or less. The war parts, anyway, are pretty much true.” is a mantra 😮‍💨
