I love the eco system of Ethereum, don't get me wrong, but playing out the future in my head makes me feel like we're moving further away from main stream adoption than closer. I've recently started learning about the DEGEN L3 and although I again, love the community spirit of all of this, I just can't see how....

Joe Public is ever going to adopt this easily. Main obstacles being, You need to get a wallet, then the ball ache of getting funds here there and everywhere. Oh you need to add a new network. What!?!? Bridge it and you'll be fine. What!?!?! Is feels to me that L2's are a band aid and L3's just make it even worse.
