Growing up in foster care, Shaheed rarely experienced parental love or tenderness. Now, as he became a father for the first time, he is discovering emotions previously unknown to him—profound, unconditional love for his daughter and an instinctive desire to shield her from life's dangers. 

As he describes it, “I found within me a tenderness that I never knew was there or even possible."

Before I got married, I never liked kids. 
I even promised myself I wouldn’t have any when I did get married. 
Long story short, I’m now a mother of three. I never realized how heartbreaking yet beautiful it could be to have something more precious than your own life.

I’ve been following your photos for a long time, and I left a comment a few months ago, saying “your photos have a human touch that AI can’t replicate” 

I feel bad for not having a different reaction, but even if it’s the same thing, it’s all I can say.
