My hot take for the day. When I was going for my powerbadge I was replying to 1000 casts a day for a few weeks and posting 3-5 photos a day for 4 months straight. I am here to support people, but more and more it seems like people feel entitled to it without doing anything It’s never been easy to get one. Dont expect to be handed one without putting in the work. When was the last time you replied to 500 casts in a day across 10+ channels? If you want to be seen reply, it’s always been the secret to this platform yet it’s so easy nobody believes it.

I'd say this is an EXCELLENT take. I replied/reply until like 2am most nights. Made a home of /replyguys. The current system definitely has plenty of flaws, but that doesn't mean that the vast majority of badges didn't earn it. People message me like "can you give me a badge?" it's like...nope. you gotta earn it with back and neck pain like the rest of us. bc even if some cabal does find a way to hand it to you, you'll lose it the next week if you don't know how to maintain it. or for no reason at all bc the system is wonky. but its really tough now to get visibility for new accounts/no badges with all the priority algos. 200 $degen
