6 months ago, I got diagnosed with ADHD, and since then, I've been noticing patterns that impact my overall well-being, patterns Im determined to change. One big realization: ever since starting my new job, Ive been hyper-focused to the point of completely disconnecting from other essential parts of myself, like eating well, lifting weights, moving overall and prioritizing my mental health. Hyper-focus is powerful, but it can quickly tip into neglect. Tomorrow is Day 1 of intentionally reclaiming balance. I'm committed to reconnecting with what nourishes me: health, movement, and mindfulness. If you're experiencing something similar, this is your sign, let's take back control together. Day 1 starts tomorrow. Pic of me from June when I was in my element, feeling good.

i feel you! this articulates what I have been feeling as well. I am trying to be soft on myself while trying to get that control back. sometimes getting control back can look like just showing up to the gym while other times it can mean doing a full body workout. being easy on yourself is imp too.

Its ssooooo easy to just feel down on yourself for not being able to manage. I never really thought of it before, but im realizing thats an underlying sentiment when in the thick of it. Also making excuses is super easy. We got this!!
