as i said it before,
let's on-board the next one, till everyone's onchain!
it all started with a call with @saxenasaheb @base and very grateful to
@bhadoriya (i drive so much inspiration from your guys, no kidding)
few insights:
- wallets / interfaces have grown tremendously in the last couple years, specially the last few
- choosing a wallet in india, if led by a google search, is pretty indigenous - maybe because of meta - but a counterclaim, metamask did show up 2nd on the list
- friction to making your first wallet has reduced drastically, but ambiguity around it has also increased
- question like - "how do i make it secure", "what's my password", where's my keys" - do come up without an explanation on platform
- chain arbitration is crucial, probably the next game changer
- few problem statements worth looking for mass onboarding (1) chain abstraction (2) mass edu (3) wallet / DApp interface improvements (4) ease of transaction

got the first one onchain yesterday, interesting experience, few insights
- ideation is cheap, execution is the game changed
- from the time i made my first wallet (metamask) to now him using coinbase wallet: user experience making a wallet has changed a lot!
- much less friction, it's simpler than making a UPI account in India
- for a user to go from having a wallet, to exploring DApps, it's still a process, probably because onchain apps are not intuitive for them (will spend more time on this, yesterday was running against time)
- to getting to their first transaction, chain abstraction is crucial, will have to understand more here. for an average 18-30 y/o chad, this is a major friction to actually transacting --> retained user of the tech / project
- getting people onchain is fun
used
@coinbasease @base wallet - user choose naturally, tried to had 0 biases by not giving him any context and him googling "create a crypto wallet" and choosing 0 reply
