He stayed awake until midnight and ventured into the forest in search of the noise. The ground beneath his feet began to tremble, and a small crack opened up. From within, a skeletal hand emerged and quickly wrapped around his leg.Saman tried to escape, but the more he struggled, the larger the crack became. Suddenly, a ghostly being with hollow eyes and an open mouth rose from the ground.
