I still have absolutely zero doubt in my mind that the Ethereum ecosystem will dominate absolutely everything onchain-related. I believe Ethereum's "competitors" also know this, that's why they spin L2's as "not Ethereum" and "parasitic". The fud is the real alpha.

I do believe that based rollups should be the ultimate endgame for Ethereum (unless something better comes along later of course). Though to have good based rollups, we need to have a better layer 1 - namely, decreasing slot times to at least 2 seconds and implementing

We can no longer afford to eat the cost of these luxury beliefs. Solo staking in a place where you do not have appropriate bandwidth imposes an externality on the network. If Ethereum doesn't win, the world looks much more dystopian than a world where Ethereum sacrifices

The really key thing that we're early to is L2 finally being affordable. I've been saying since ~2020 (if not earlier) that the whole "not just high-value defi" part of crypto can only work if txfees are cheap. It's only since March that they actually are.

They know full well women and children crossing the border are being raped and abducted and sold into sex slavery. Maybe that's their main main intention after all. But we'll never know because NO ONE in DC has explained why we are letting this happen.
