Cels are transparent sheets used for hand-drawing individual frames in traditional anime, allowing for layering and animation of characters and backgrounds separately. White Rabbit is fully digital, but we pay homage to traditional anime techniques such as laying out our concept art this way. Created by Théo Nardi

I really appreciate the homage. Working digitally is a necessity today, but knowing where it all comes from and integrating it is, to me, a true sign of respect and shows that this work is done by enthusiasts first and foremost of animation 🥰
