UK safety tip: from a former police officer
Today in Leicester Square, London, a man was arrested by the police for stabbing/cutting a woman and an 11 year old girl. Both of them are currently in the hospital and are expected to survive. This is the footage from the law enforcement recorder and on-site photos of his arrest. Obviously, the man is white, but it is not clear whether he is British. The police have not yet revealed the nationality of the victim. They stated that they do not believe this is a terrorist attack - usually far right attacks would be described as terrorist attacks. We currently do not have all the facts, but there are reports that the victim and the suspect did not know each other, and this seems to be a random attack. If this is not a terrorist attack and there is no personal motive, then the only reasonable explanation is that the suspect is mentally ill.
