London Stories: From Medieval Guilds to Modern Heroes
The City of London (referring to the Old Town, which covers an area of approximately one square mile and is a separate entity from Greater London in a broader sense) has many ancient guilds dating back to the Middle Ages, which were established by craftsmen to unite. Nowadays, many guild halls still exist, and there are also many modern guilds coexisting with these ancient guilds. This week, the guild I belong to is established for security professionals. We gathered at the Armor Maker Guild Hall to present awards to those who have shown bravery. This award not only includes people, but also dogs - outstanding dogs in the military, civilian security, and law enforcement fields all have exclusive awards. They also put on long robes, which was very interesting.
