Projections indicate by 2050 cities from the Northern hemisphere will see a climate shift on average ~1000 km south. Madrid will resemble Marrakech’s climate today, Stockholm to Budapest, London to Barcelona, Moscow to Sofia, Seattle to San Francisco, Tokyo to Changsha (Bastin et al., 2019).
