Yeah I read this this morning and kind of spiralled. This is one of the biggest, most permanent losses that the american people are facing. And it's early in the presidency. Billionaires gonna billion, I guess. In Ontario we have similar issues where the government has given a 99 year lease on public land (and a $2B subsidy) to a foreign spa company, and also is tearing down an iconic architectural building by Ray Moriyama so that the premier's developer buddies can cash in on the land. It's gross. And people don't seem to care.

People definitely care, just that the people who actually live within nuke distance of the atrocity don't have a voice relative to everyone in the distance suburbs.

A …. spa?? A spa can afford a 2B lease? What? Anyway, money talks and we all have to listen whether we like it or not.
