Which social media handles the "check once per week" scenario best?

I bet whoever solves this will win a lot of longtail users.

A lot of content cross pollinates across social groups, but not needing to be extremely online is something nobody(?) is optimizing for.

I do wonder if there's a way to have valuable participation but infrequent.

Ah, well then... glad to hear that it got you thinking in this direction!

I'm sure that can be done, but I imagine it would look more like old-school discussion forums than algo-driven social media per se.
